SCHOOL RULES:
These are the first steps in our positive behaviour programme. They are rules that focus on positive behaviour choices.
Signs for each “Show Me Five” are displayed in appropriate areas around the grounds and classrooms.
We have “Show Me Five” for
· Each classroom
· Skate bowl
· Playground
· Bus Shelter
· Back field
· Sandpit
· Front court
The rules encourage children to:
· take responsibility for their behaviour
· recognise their own and others’ positive behaviour and develop a caring, respectful and courteous attitude towards others
In Class / Assembly
Listening ears, inside voice, eyes on teacher, hands to self, hands up
Bus Shelter
Use school language, hands to self, respect other’s gear, be on time, listen to duty teacher
Front Court
Correct gear, share the court, hand ball games only, school language, own wheels
Skate bowl
Correct gear, take turns, call “Going”, school language, wheels a priority, (know your day – timetable on the palm)
Junior Playground & senior playground
School language, hands to self, share, help each other, play safe games
Back field
Share the field, stay in bounds, use school language, play safe games, respect equipment
Sandpit
Sand in pit, respect others creations, share sand & toys, use school language, hands to self
Treat other people with respect, kindness and courtesy.

4. We know what to bring to school and have it ready to use.
5. We treat all property carefully.
6. We show pride in our school, our work and ourselves.
